Zelooperz Biography
Walter Moszel Williams, known professionally as ZelooperZ (stylized as ZelooperZ), is an American rapper and painter hailing from Detroit, Michigan. Born on June 18, 1993, he is a member of the hip-hop collective Bruiser Brigade, which is led by fellow Detroit artist Danny Brown. ZelooperZ is signed to Bruiser Brigade Records and has made a name for himself within the independent hip-hop scene.ZelooperZ began his music career by releasing his first mixtape, "Coon N the Room: Eating Ramen Noodles While Watching Roots on Bootleg", in 2011. This initial project showcased his unique style and creativity, setting the stage for his future endeavors. He later collaborated with Danny Brown and other members of the Bruiser Brigade, contributing to the collective’s innovative sound. On June 13, 2014, he released his second mixtape, "HELP", which further solidified his presence in the music industry.In addition to his music career, ZelooperZ is also an accomplished painter. He cites artists like Francis Bacon and Hajime Sorayama as influences on his painting style. His visual art extends to his music releases; notably, he has created several of his own album covers, including the cover for "Van Gogh’s Left Ear", which features a self-portrait.ZelooperZ has sold his artwork under his stage name as well as the moniker Moszel Offline, although this is distinct from a 2020 album of the same name.ZelooperZ stands out not only for his contributions to music through his distinct lyrical style and collaborative projects but also for his artistic expression as a painter. His dual career in both music and visual arts highlights his versatility and creative spirit, establishing him as a multifaceted artist in the contemporary cultural landscape.
