Art Smith Biography
Art Smith is an American culinary expert and personal chef own in 1960. He would attend Florida State University and pursue culinary while in college, eventually completing internships for Disney and The Greenbrier resort. Smith would hone his prowess and develop new recipes over the next few decades while venturing into the world of personal chefs.
Art Smith has been a personal chef for governors such as Bob Graham and Jeb Bush, however in 2007 he began working with his most notable client, Oprah Winfrey. He released several award-winning cookbooks and saw commercial success due to his attachment to Oprah and his appearances on her popular television program. Smith would eventually move onto her website and opened several restaurants, including one at Disney Springs in 2016.
Smith has been featured in several major publications including ABC News, The Chicago Tribune, and Oprah, among others. He has been featured on major television programs as well, including Bravo TV, The TODAY Show, and even Sesame Street. Art Smith has also competed and judged on several cooking programs including Nailed It! and Chopped All-Stars, where he made it to the final episode as a competitor.
